I met Bobby right after Christmas Break at a Cru meeting (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). My mentor Mary had been talking with Bobby's mentor and they decided that Bobby and I should meet. I agreed but then I realized he was the cute guy that had been checking out all last semester! (AHH!!) I tried my best to impress him by smiling a lot and suggesting that he teach me how to play football. I ran into Bobby again a couple weeks later and we talked about what classes we were taking. When my sorority announced their Valentines Social, I knew exactly who I was going to ask- a *cute* guy that I had spoken to twice! ! I called him up and he agreed to go with me. Wow. I still can't believe how lucky I was! :) We never stopped hanging out that semester- going for walks on campus, playing ping pong in the game room, and meeting for coffee. One night after Easter break while he was walking me home, Bobby asked me to be his girlfriend and the rest is history!

Planning our wedding during this pandemic has been challenging. To abide by current Kentucky guidelines, we are limiting attendance to our immediate family.
